- STAGE 1: (Assessment: identifying the problem) Stage 1 is very important as the issue people present initially for treatment is often a smokescreen that hides the real issue. What people think the problem is and what they feel at the heart level are often two different things. By journeying directly in the heart of your problem you will gain a clearer understanding of what your underlying issue is. This will help you to set a template for creating more harmony between what you think and what you feel.
- STAGE 2: (Exploring the subconscious mind) Having collated information about the issue you have presented I will use this information to take you on a hypnotic trance journey in which you will experience your subconscious thoughts in relation to your issue. At this stage you will begin the process of developing a conscious relationship with all the repressed emotions, fears, and memories you have packed in to the subconscious mind.
- STAGE 3: (Re-visiting the past) In this session you will explore and discuss some of your repressed feelings and fears about the past. Perhaps things that you had forgotten might re-surface. In this stage you can begin to thread all of the different pieces of your life together and see how this has given shape to the issue you are now experiencing.
- STAGE 4: (Re-framing the past) In the 4th stage you will work on developing a different relationship with your past by re-framing the story you tell yourself about your past. By focusing your awareness on what positive lessons you would like to learn from your past, you can begin to look at how you would like to move forward with your life.
- STAGE 5: (Embracing change: making new choices) In the 5th stage you become aware of your power of choice, in terms of the type of choices you have made in your life which created your problem, and then look at what kind of conscious choices you would now like to make.
- STAGE 6: (Tuning in to inner guidance) In stage 6 we will be looking at the power of intuition and taping in to inner guidance to help you connect with what’s in your heart and the wisdom that is in your mind. During this time you might discover that perhaps there is a passion you would like to nurture, or a business idea you would like to bring to life. In this stage we will explore what your life will look like if you decide to follow the guidance you are receiving and look at small steps you can take to start achieving those goals.
- STAGE 7: (Creating a new future) In stage 7 we will discuss what kind of life you now envision yourself post therapy. What kind of choices do you want to set in motion? What kind of relationships do you want to have? What kind of person do you want to be? And what will your new life look like? In this session we will explore these questions. Hopefully by this stage you will be feeling clear about what path you want to pursue, and what you are willing to do to get there.
- STAGE 8: (Endings/New beginnings)In this stage we will reflect on the journey you have been on, look at key lessons you have learn't and how you would like to apply this to your everyday life in a very practical and tangible way. At this last stage you will learn things like self-hypnosis and other therapeutic tools that will support you in staying connected to who you are the deepest level.
